When we spend all our energy looking down the road at the next problem to solve or the next goal to reach, we miss what is passing right beside us. I’ve lived long enough to realize that the moments we remember most aren’t the grand achievements—they are the quiet, ordinary ones we almost walked past. A stranger’s kindness, the laughter of family around a table, or the calm of early morning. Changing your experience of life doesn’t require doing more. It simply begins with slowing down enough to notice what has been there all along.
